I didn’t receive an activation message – what do I do?
Please send an email with your mobile phone number to info@cherry-sms.com. We will manually activate your account.
How can I change my mobile number?
Register a new account with your new mobile number and delete the old account. After that, send us an e-mail, with your new and your old mobile number, to info@cherry-sms.com.
We then transfer your left over credit (the old account has to be deleted!).
Bonus SMS from recommended users can not be transferred.
What private data will be saved by Cherry SMS?
The connection data will be stored for 90 days. We will not save any SMS text and can't even have a look. You will not have to post any private data, like your name oder your address.

You can pay via bank transfer or with Paypal.
When will my credits expire?
Your paid SMS-credits are valid for an unlimited period.
How can I receive a bill?

SMS sending
Do messages I am sending via CHERRY SMS contain advertisements?
No, of course they are completely ad free.
What sender ID will be shown, when my sender ID is not active?
When sending short messages via CHERRY SMS basic, there will be shown a different sender ID.
What will happen if someone replies to an SMS sent with the SMS without sender id?
You can revieve answers by email for free or directly by sms on your phone. You only have to make this setting in your account.
An SMS didn't reach the recipient?
Please send an e-mail with date, time, mobile number of the recipient and your mobile number to info@cherry-sms.com. We will check, what the error is. All SMS are directly sent to the providers and delivered instantly.
Does CHERRY SMS offer delivery reports?
Unfortunately, CHERRY SMS is unable to provide delivery reports.
Why does the recipient see a different time in the text message?
Some devices show the time of the SMS carrier which was used to send the message. If the time zone of the recipient’s SMS carrier differs to the time zone of the sender’s SMS carrier, a different time will be displayed. But – each message will be received shortly after it is sent.
Why do messages with foreign characters not appear properly?
CHERRY SMS uses 7-bit encoding, which supports only Latin characters.
iPhone App
Can I use the application with my iPhone 2G?
Yes, if you have at least version 2.0 installed, you can use the App.
Why can't I see the inbox of my text messages?
CHERRY SMS is only designed to send messages. Apple does not allow importing messages from the device's inbox.
Are there additional costs for sending text messages from out of the country?
CHERRY SMS charges a standard price, regardless of your location. However, if you do not have free WiFi access, your mobile carrier may charge you for roaming costs to connect to the internet.
I get an error message - what does that mean?
Following error messages can appear:
Network Connection Error: Your internet connection is not stable or you don't have a connection at all.
Recipient not valid: The mobile number is in a wrong format or a character is missing.
Please always enter the numbers in the international format, i.e. 00491721234567.

I recommended a friend. Why is he not appearing in the list?
This can have different causes:
1. The new user did not register with your link.
2. The recommended user did not upload any credit or the upload is still in progress.
3. The recommended user was already registered.
